NETWORKING –
Network luncheons: The Chamber sponsors a luncheon on the second Thursday of the following months: February, March, April, May, June, August, September and November.
State of the Community Luncheon: An annual event designed to give an overview of the prospective of the school, city, county, and state. This event is held annually in the Fall.
Business After Hours: Local businesses and organizations may sponsor an “after hours” networking event at their place of business. All members are invited to attend these events that are scheduled at the hosting business’s request.
Business Network & Leads: Every Tuesday morning, business professionals congregate together to share information and network. The weekly meeting is open to all Chamber members wanting to share a lead and network with other business owners.
PROMOTION –
Shop Local: The Shop Local campaign is an ongoing project that stresses the importance of local commerce to the community’s well-being. Only Chamber members are promoted in this campaign.
Ribbon Cuttings: A Ribbon Cutting may be requested by a member for a grand opening, relocation, or new facility, or to recognize chamber membership for an existing business. The Facts newspaper will print information about the business in their Business Journal.
Chamber News: Chamber News is a monthly publication informing the membership of past and future events. Advertising is available in the form of a business card, ad, or flyer inserts for $25 per month. This publication is mailed to approximately 550 business leaders and is made available online. The Heartbeat: The Heartbeat is a publication used to promote the Angleton area and the member businesses. It is funded by local business through advertisements. The publication reaches 21,000 homes in the Greater Angleton area and can be found on this website, making The Heartbeat the most effective promotional service.
City/County Map: The city map is a bi-annual publication. Advertising space is available, but is limited! Not a day goes by that we do not have visitors in need of a map.
